Fuel pressure specs

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just here to add my 2 cents. The sending unit is built into the in-tank fuel pump. Here is the wire colors for the fuel pump circuit. I've attached 2 pictures below. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

The fuel pressure is high 80-100psi key on with 3-fuel pump use. What is causing it to be high? Also changed the fuel pressure regulator.

Hello again.

It sounds like you have a defective fuel pressure regulator. That pressure reading is way too high. You should have no more than 44 PSI. At the most. You might want to put the original back in or return this as defective. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

I'm taking this reading at the pressure regulator return line. I've change the regulator 3-times. What's next?

Hello again.

Have you used compressed air to blow out the fuel lines? Maybe there could be a restriction. If not something must be going on with the regulator or it's an incorrect application maybe possibly defective. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
