Fuel level gauge not working

Gas gauge is failing is it a fuel sensor.

Hi,

The issue could be the fuel level sensor, but there could be other causes as well. Since the level sensor is in the fuel tank and not easily accessible, I would recommend having the computer scanned to identify any diagnostic trouble codes that could point us in the direction of the cause. If you look at the pic I attached, it shows different codes related to a malfunctioning fuel gauge.

I realize most people don't own a scan tool, but often times a parts store will do it free of charge. I would start with that.
