Car will start with starting fluid but will not run on its own. Just installed a new fuel pump a month ago. It will not even attempt to fire.. just crank.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

If it starts with starting fluid, then you have a fuel related issue. Have you checked to see if there is pressure to the fuel rail? The new pump may have failed or even a fuse may have blown. Here is a link that shows how to check fuel pressure. Do this first so we know if the pump is the issue or if there is an injection problem.

Also, if there is fuel pressure, confirm the injectors are getting power.

Do this first and let me know the results
