For past 2 months ive felt something wrong with my front driver side wheel. It would make noise periodocally sometimes loud or none at all. Now on feb 14th I found out that the front driver side either ball joint and control arm are grinding into my rim. Now im trying to understand if there could be anything else wrong or if im even right about the problem. If anyone has any idea please let me know. My truck is not drivable at this point.

Hi,

I need you to get a pic of what you are seeing. I can't picture how the control arm or ball joint is hitting the wheel unless something broke.

Is the wheel still sitting in a normal position or has it collapsed, which would indicate a broken ball joint.

I attached a pic below. I highlighted the ball joints and circled the control arms. Can you let me know which seems to have failed?

Let me know.

Take care and God Bless,

Joe
