Hi there, I have windstar 01 with 160,000 miles it has 3.8 v6 motor. My problem is that i was driving at about 25 miles an hour as soon as i turned to a street my car died everything shut down no life what so ever . no ignition lights no headlights no inside lights completly dead, it seems like someone took the battery out but every thing was intact. i tried looking for fuses and checked 'em they were alright. i guess there is some type of electrical problem but i don't know what it is? i even try changing the battery, jump start every thing but in vain. Plz help my if you know what problem this might be?
Is there any security switch (apart from that fuel cut off switch) which cuts off automatically?
thank you in advance

nothing will cut off the power unless you have a alarm system.

i think you may have a bad igntion switch. as you said the battery is charged and you tryed jumping it to no previal.

before testing the ignition switch make sure allt he cables are properly fastend and not corroded.
