My 2000 Windstar (105,000 mi) 3.8L is blowing fuse #10 - per owners manual when I engage the A/C. This fuse also controls the speedo and odomoter, and per manual controls the front blend door actuator and the front A/C control head. When I replace fuse, speedo etc works until I turn the control to A/C. Does not affect the blower fan.
Thanks

Sounds like the a/c clutch is shorted out. Try unplugging the connector at the clutch on the compressor and see if it blows the fuse
