Engine Performance problem
2002 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Engine light is on we just change spark plugs and it back fires when takeing off and sputtering and it;s really been sucking gas. It never was like this before

Scan the computer for codes, there's a problem within the Engine Management System. This is your starting point to finding out the problem.

What light is coming On? Is it the CEL/SES/MIL?Did your problem arises after you replaced the plugs-

Yes after the plugs it came on. And all the rest as well the back firing and gas gazzeling

Ok what computer do I scan for that code. Imreally lost can you clear up a few lost areas?

The computer is called the PCM

Your best bet is bring it in- it can be complicated and if the codes not interpreted right it can be a nightmare to remember-No joke
