2000 Ford Windstar 104,147 3.8L. I bought this van about 2 and a half years ago and about one month after I bought it the check engine light came on, my husband changed the air filter, maf, and O2 sensors, the light went off for about a week and has been on ever since we cannot figure out why it is on, I took it to get the codes read and it is still saying system is running too lean, what do you think it could be. While driving it hesitates, is sluggish and spongy, what do you think is causing all these problems, how much do you think it would cost to have it fixed?

have you ever changed the fuel filter? a clogged fuel filter will set a running lean code and make the vehicle run sluggish. change the filter and see if that helps. it's a very inexpensive fix. good luck
