I have a ford thunderbird and every time a accelerate my car will start shaking and it will hassle unti it shifts gear, also my chech gauges light has stayed on I dnt know if it has anything to do with the jerkn of the car, but it seems to have lost alot of power and I was wondering what would be wrong with it or why the light came on or how to fix it. Thnx

Are you referring to the check engine light coming on-if so you need to have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.
