Replaced vehicle speed sensor and still am experiencing the same symptoms, no speedometer and no transmission shift, but now, I've realized that the problem seems to occur when the vehicle has been warmed up, could there be a problem with the speedometer driven gear which I think is located in the transmission? or could the speedometer cable end where it fits into the speed sensor be rounded and not driving the speedometer head ? although that seems to be an impossibility since the speedometer does work intermittently and after all the sensor is still not signaling the transmission to shift. the installation of the speed sensor went perfectly so I cannot understand what else it could be, unless the new speed sensor has malfunctioned already what do you think ? Please help.
