I recently purchased 134a refrigerant and 134a+ in order to recharge my air conditioner. I do not have an owner's manual: where is the low pressure port located and can I use this type of refrigerant in my airconditioner? The can warns not to use the contents in R-12 A/C systems. Thank you!

your model has 134a in it already. the port for the low pressure side is gonna be the bigger, (fatter), line. hi side is the thinner one.

[quote:1deed3292b="justanold"]HELLO! The port you want is on the passenger side very near the firewall. it's actually the smaller one. the one by the power steering pump is the HI side. lift the wire harness if needed to locate the LO side port. hook up to it and follow this link for proper instructions on how to recharge your A/C. let me know if you have any ??s and how this works for you. 8) 8) 8) http://www.2carpros.com/forum/1999-ford-taurus-a-c-problem-vt45210.html?start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=[/quote:1deed3292b]

ok the port is where you make the connection. maybe i should be a little more specific. the port for the low side is smaller, yet the line is thicker than the high side.
