We have had problems starting this car when it has set for a few days. So we pluged a plug charger into the battery after every use and this seemed to work. We drove the car on Friday and when we came back to the embassy turned off the car at the check point and it would not start back up. I think the alternator maybe causing this problem but not sure. The car will not start at all now.

Hello,

Just so can cover all the options, have tried to jump start the vehicle?

It sounds like you might have a weak battery and it loses charge rapidly.

Another possibility is you might have a parasitic drain on the battery due to a electrical component staying on (like a glove box light or sticking window switch etc.) or a short somewhere that making the battery drain. You will need a voltmeter to check for the drain on the battery.

Here is an article that shows how to check for a parasitic drain:

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
