My vehicle has power and yet the ignition still wont turn over. On this past Thursday evening I pulled into my apartment complex stopped at my mailbox and when I got back into my car it would not start. I had to push my car back into a parking spot close to the vicinity of my apartment. I have tried cranking my car on multiple occasions since that has occurred and I have got the exact same results. It is getting very very cumbersome and frustrating.

Try resetting your security system that may be the problem. then check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it, see links.

I read this wrong. Check battery for condition including load test most places do for free. Make sure terminal ends are clean.

I am not clear on the symptom. Is the problem the engine does not crank, (turn over), when you turn the ignition switch to 'crank"? Or do you mean the engine cranks normally but it does not start and run? How bright are the head lights, and what happens to their brightness when you try to crank the engine?

Use an inexpensive digital voltmeter to measure the battery's voltage, and tell me what you find.

If the engine cranks normally, check for spark and fuel pressure. We have to know if one or both of those are missing.
