Battery Good, car won't crank over?

Get one click, but engine does not turn over. Battery is good. Sounds like a bad solenoid.I remember bad solenoids on 1960s era fords. You could jump them with a wire, even a pocket knife to get home. Easy to replace. Does the starter even have a solenoid, or are they now replaced with relays in the main elec box?

Hello,

If when you try to jump start it and you still get the click, the it is likely the starter. On this vehicle the solenoid is part of the starter and usually cannot be purchased separately like the older vehicles.
You also want to first check the relay and make sure it is good. The relay is located in the fuse box under the hood (see diagram below). It can be tested:

If the relay checks out then it is likely the starter.
