Steering problem
2001 Ford Taurus Automatic

I need the lower arm control replaced. When I told the guy at the store what model I had, I told him Ford Taurus 2000. Later on a noticed the car said Ford Taurus LX. I was just wondering if there's a difference, and if there is, if this part would work with the LX.

I'm just worried I ordered the wrong part, as I know nothing about cars.

Thanks!

Your part will fit fine. The "LX" is just the trim package for that vehicle. For example, one trim package may be called "DX" (for example use only) and come standard equipped with leather seats, power seats, etc.. while the same vehicle with the "L" (for example use only) package only comes standard equipped with cloth seats and no power seats..

Hope this helps you understand a little better..
