Have you checked the fuseable links from the alt to the battery?

Are you sure the alt is the problem and there isn't something placing a draw on the battery?

Ok so heres what ive got good alternator and battery. Both have been pulled out and tested. All fuse good even the 175 amp link fuse. What its not doing is when you to the ignition to on position the battery light does not come on at all. Now from what I have read is this is the green w/red stripe wire that comes from the alternator to the resister bulb. Checked the bulb and is good. All wires seem good but can not trace this one. Also is there any resistors or modules that are in either fuse panel that might be bad. Also heard if bulb does not come on it cant tell the alternator to get ready to charge.
