Look for a screw/little bolt on top of the thermostat housing or near the upper radiator hose. chances are it will be frozen shut and you will end up stripping it.

best way is remove radiator cap, and put it up on car stands in the front and let the vehicle warm up and run at about 2,000 rpm's and slowly add coolant directly in the radiator till no more bubbles appear.
