The automatic transmission has gotten stuck in overdrive or at least the highest gear and tries to stall the engine at a stop. Rare, but has happened about 5 times since about 32,000 miles. Downshifting doesn't help. Shifting to neutral helps most of the time as does pushing the "Tow/Haul Mode" button.
