I have an 01 ford ranger and it is not ideling right, and doesnt have all of the power it used to. The check engine light is on so I had a friend check it. It says band 1 and bank 2 are running lean. So we figured o2 sensors are bad. Would I have to replace all three or just the two upstream?

When banks one and two are lean, that is a symptom of lean condition not o2 sensors. Check for vacuum leak by spraying carb cleaner at base of intake and see if idle changes, this is where the leak is. Also if this one has a mass air flow sensor, this will usually cause this code. Hope this helps
