I have a 1994 Ranger 2.3 ltr. With 115,000 miles on it. The iddler pully froze up and my truck stopped running. So I replaced the pully and my truck still wont start. I have checked the timming and it is in time. I even changed the spark plugs. It still wont start. I had the ignition modul checked and it was fine. The truck is trying to start. It goes into a full crank but sometimes it back fires through the intake. Does anyone have a suggestion? HELP!

May have jumped time. Align the marks and then get the #1 piston to line up TDC put your finger over it and lightly turn the crank untill you feel a rush of air. Look at the distributor and see if the rotor is ligned up wit the #1spark plug. If not it jumped time.
