1994 Ford Ranger Two Wheel Drive Manual 153000 miles

The weather just recently turned cold and the pickup would not start. All I got was a clicking sound from the starter area. I pushed the truck and got it started but then it did the same thing again when I tried starting it again.

Sounds to me that your battery is no good, try a new battery and it should be replaced.

Nope, don't try the battery yet. Locate your starter, get a friend and while they turn the key, tap on your starter with a small hammer, I said tap not beat the hell out of it, and cross your fingers. Sounds like you have a starter that's sticking.
