The bar connecting my front left tire to the sterring part has come lose and is dragging if I was to drive it. It has grooves like a screw would and so does the piece needing it to be fit into. Is this an easy fix such as just tighting part or is this much worse? This is no break or any visiable damage

Hello,

That is your Outer Tie Rod End. You can screw it back together and tighten the bolts on the Sleeve. But, you will need to take it and get it checked out as to why it can apart. Plus you will need the front end aligned.

Thank you, I noticed I will need an allignment because since it happened my sterring wheel almost looked like I was making a left turn.

Will this be a pretty cheap fix at a shop? I am "green" when it comes to cars and tried just fitting the pieces back in but everytime I tried to drive it fell out again
