2.3L. Starts right up. Runs great for a couple minutes and then starts to spit and sputter. It will eventually stall after doing this a couple of minutes. It does it at idle or at higher rpm, although less severe when rpm's are higher.

There wasn't any problems leading up to this. It ran great. It just happened suddenly.

Also noticed the coolant temp gauge never did move far off of "C". Related?

I've only had the truck a month or so. So I don't really have any history to add.

Thanks a bunch for any help anyone can give me.

Do you have spark? Fuel pressure? Need to verify these two things, if ok, then get a "noid" light and plug it in the injector harness to verify that it flashes while cranking, get back to me with the results

Spark is good. Fuel pressure is good. Can't afford to buy test equipment. I'm getting a Code 23, which is throttle position sensor problem. Could that be causing the problem? I ran a resistance test on it and it checked good. My Chilton's calls for voltage testing using a breakout box. See above about test equipment. Any other way to found out if TPS is cause? It's $30 for a new one. Don't want to buy if I'm not sure that's the problem. Thanks.

Check idle speed, throttle stop adjustment, binding throttle or linkage, cruise control linkage and if no other codes are present and throttle and bore are not worn and wiring is good replace TP sensor.
