The internal pump turns on, but the external high pressure pump will not, when I checked it with a multimeter it read only 0.2 to 0.4 both on the hot wire on the pump grounded to the frame and it read the same when I touche both wires hooked to the pump, do both pumps run on the same wire, like does the wire run from the first fuel pump to the tank pump or are they seprate and if not is it something electrical of do I just need to replace the high pressure pump?

Hi
Yes same wire is there 12V on pink wire? if yes pump should run. Ohm check across terminals to see if pump windings are open. Also check inertia switch right side kick panel.

After the voltage circuit leaves the inertia switch, there is a branch, one branch to each pump. I'd check the voltage coming from the inertia switch, if that is ok, I'd check the branch going to the high pump.
