1986 Ford Probe gt runs for about 30 minutes and then begin

My car will run for about 30 minutes and then begin to bog down. During this elapsed time the ampmeter is constantly going down. If you let the car sit for about an hour everything will be fine again for about another 30 minutes. New alternator and the system voltage checks OK.
Any suggestions?

Fuel pump could be failing -check the fuel pressure and comeback with the readings.
