Hi, I was wondering if you could help me with something. We recently changed the car battery and ever since we have, there has been white smoke coming from the exhaust for the whole car ride while it is on. I can also smell the gas from within the car and even moreso when the window is down. It has only been happening ever since the battery was changed. Thank you for taking time out to read this.

Changing the battery should have no effect on engine and or the smoke that you have
Check coolant system if low suspect leak if have a V6 check intake manifold gasket if leaking coolant into the cylinder
