Took my car in for serves because car would not start on the first try. I was told the fuel pump needed to be replaced. Had a new one put in and same thing happened. Took the car back and the station replaced the fuel pump again saying the new one was bad as well. Now the same thing is still happening. They replaced the spark plugs and wire and now seem to be at a loss to what is causing the problem. Any ideas you might have would be great.

Thank you
Bob

So this car does not start because there is no fuel? Check the CCRM, see if the fuel pump relay or PCM power relay is bad, also check pins wires and connectors at the CCRM

Thanks. I'll pass that along to my mechanic. FYI. He felt it was not running on all cylinders at startup and thought he smelled antifreeze. Does that mean anything to you? Car seems to run fine after it does start and I have no problem driving it after that. I appreciate all your help.

Some Fords develop a leak on the intake manifolr, a pressure test will find that.
