I'll be as descriptive as possible. I was driving down the road when my oil pressure gauge dropped all the way to the left and back to normal. Come to find out it only did this when I made a turn from the little bit I noticed from driving it directly home. I looked and my car had very little oil in it to the point it hardly read on the dipstick.

I put 3 quarts of oil in it I had in my trunk and took a ride to an oil change place about 15 mins away but of course they couldnt take anymore appointments today so it's still sitting in my driveway. The oil pressure meter did stop dropping on that drive.

I did notice a decent size puddle of what looks like oil under the center of the engine block area on the driveway and some oil running down my drivers side front wheelcap. (I'm assuming it's oil looks like it but not sure).

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

make sure that the sump plug is tight and the oil filter is tight also, if these are ok, you will have to wash the motor down and take it for a run as the oil leak will be easier to trace on a clean engine, start here.
