1997 Ford Mustang 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 186. OO miles

when I drive my car the temperture needle passes half and climbs to hot but doesnt touch it then it goes back to normal I guess when the fan kicks on but if I drive it long it climbs again even when the fan is on ive drove it for like forty minutes it climbs but never touches hot when its a hot day it does it more often I changed the radiator fluid cause I saw a white substance in it but still this problem persists and the car doesnt make noise or smokes it runs great except for that any answers

3.8? 4.2? Both have a TSB(technical service bulliten)
Engine coolant may be leaking into the engine oil on some vehicles. The internal coolant leak may be hard to find.

This may be caused by the lower intake manifold side gaskets and/or front cover gaskets allowing coolant to pass
into the cylinders and/or the crankcase. ACTION: Revised lower intake manifold side and front cover gaskets have
been released for service. Refer to the application chart for details. If coolant is found in the engine oil or
coolant useage oted without a noted external leak, proceed with the gasket installation. Pay attention to the build dates on the chart.
