Is there anything other than a blown fuse
that would cause thelighter to not work?

It could be the outlet itself or a loose/broken wire.
Check for voltage at the connector. If you get 12V but the outlet doesn't work, then replace it. If you don't get 12V, replace fuse. If it still doesn't work check for a loose/broken wire.
