Hi:
The sensor is at the back of the engine block. It is beside the alternator but in a recess and VERY tough to access. Because the bolt housing for the sensor is made of brass, it will strip or shear off in the block easily. If you decide to attempt to replace yours, be prepared for the worst. Don't know how much a garage or dealership might charge, but if something goes wrong while they're working on it, at least you know they won't (or shouldn't, anyway) charge you for correcting any mistakes you might have made.
