I have had problems starting my 1992 f250 the last few days. When I turn the key sometimes nothing happens. I then have to turn the key back to the off position and try again. After a couple attempts the truck starts. When the truck is running it sounds and drives great. When it does not start there is nothing. The starter does not click it just seems to be completely dead.

Automatic or manual trans?
Neutral safety switch would be the first thing to check. Hit me back if no luck

The switch is located on the transmission look for for the shift cable and where is attached to the trans that is the switch. There will be a wiring harness attached to it
