Air Conditioning problem
2007 Ford F-150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My battery went did A/C was working great tried to jump start truck would not jump then went and bought new battery the truck was miss due to throttle stuck, after few minutes ran great, but now the compress for the A/C does not seem to be turning on would not having freon or it being low not allow it to kick in, if compressor not turning on is it ok to try to charge freon and is there a way to check if the compressor is getting power or if the compressor is out

Yes, there are lots of tests to be made and refrigerant should never be added without first seeing the high and low pressure readings.

A/C repairs are far too tricky for DIYers and shouldn't be attempted.
