I am getting ready to buy an used F-150. The car looks to be in a very good condition, the ineterior is perfect, and it drives really good. The only problem is that when you drive it you can hear a tic-tic noise. I don't know any mechanics that I trust so I can bring it before I buy it. Is that something to be worried about?

ticking noise? sounds like an exhaust leak or a issue with the pulleys.

take a piece of fuel line and hold it around the exhaust manifold and pipings, do you hear ticking?
