2006 Ford F150 ticking noise at 60mph

my wife has been driving my truck while i waas deployed. recently the check engine light has come on and we have noticed a ticking noise in the engine. the tick only occurs after 60 mph. i am getting the engine scanned today but wondering if you had any ideas on the tick

Have you checked the oil and oil pressure?

the oil pressure seems right and the oil has been changed on a regular 3000 mile basis. still have around 1500 miles before next due.

Have you had the computer scanned? Most parts stores will do it for free. Have that done and let me know what you find.
