Why does my truck mis under a load? And it makes a knocking noise at the muffler.

If you hear a knocking noise, chances are the inside of the catylatic converter or the muffler is lose inside. That whould cause a knocking sound and it could cause a miss.

Take a rubber mallot and tap on the muffler and converter. See if there is a noise there.

Let me know what you find.
