1999 Ford F-150 Engine wont run

My f-150 has been having problems lately. When I start the engine it will turn over and start but then immediately dies. If I start it and give it gas it will keep running as long as I am revving it but it still runs bad and when I let off the gas it will die. I just replaced the fuel filter. What do you think the problem might be? Thank you for any help.

check for vacuum leaks under the hood
check IAC remove and clean
