HI there,

Some of the signs of clutch wear can be shudder when taking off in 1st gear, hard gear changing, clashing in reverse, slipping under load, and drive taking up when the pedal is well off the floor. You need to remove the transmission to access the clutch, the fly wheel should also be removed and refaced, as yours is a 4X4 this is a very heavy and difficult transmission to remove at the best of times even with the correct equipment, so i would go get a quote first as if you don't have the correct lifting equipment you wont be able to do this very heavy job.
