This truck hasn't started in over a year. I had to replace the fuel pump. I started the vehicle and nothing. I also replace the battery. The vehicle cranks over and I had a device connected to the distributor to check for a spark. There's a spark their.
What do I need to do, so I don't burn out the starter.
What steps do need to do in order for this engine to start.
I've also tried using carb cleaner as a starting fluid and nothing.

Thank you

This sounds like the crankshaft angle sensor or the fuel pump has gone out, when you turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for 5 seconds? These guides should help us fix it.

Also, lets run the codes to see what come up.

I finally got it started, I had to change all the plugs, they were wet from starting or from too much moisture.
