1959 Ford F-150 wiring taillights brakelights and signals

One whole week and not a single answer to my problem. This site is a JOKE!

I believe the fact that it is a '48 panel, not a '59 PU is significant. I do not believe they had turn signals in '48 and therefore they must have been added. I believe you will need to provide a separate light bulb for the signals (because connecting brake and signal together gives you a short). If you are restoring, and want to keep the original look, you will probably have to fabricate a socket to fit inside the existing fixture. Perhaps you can find or do something using the new LED lights. If restoring to original look is not an issue, you can merely add a separate light fixture. I hope this helps you. I'm working on a '59 Ford one ton and wish I had a wiring diagram for it.

Thanks. But as I stated.I have signals lights already. But the old type switch that I have dosent allow for the brake lights to be wired into it.I added separate lights for the brakes and will purchase a newer switch so I can use all three together in the future.I guess if You dont make a "donation" with your question.
