Ford Explorer 2000 128000 4.0 windsheild washer sys

wipers work windsheild washer does not, replaced washer pump and multi control switch on steering column not very good at electriclal troubleshooting. is there a relay and if so what is its location so i can replace it or is there somthing else i overlooked. thanks

I assume you checked the fuse?

shined light on fuse before changing parts fuse appeared good chg,d parts and then actually removed fuse metal stripwas actually burned in half. prior to washer going bad seen small wisps of smoke come up through 4 way button area on steering column only a couple of times . so kind of glad i chg,d multilple control switch one less thing to worry about thanks again. lesson learned
