Door Ajar message

The "Door Ajar" light and chime occassionally come on when my 2003 Ford Explorer with 70,000 miles is running. I have narrowed this down the the driver's door. Where is the door sensor located on this vehicle?

Try to spray the door latch with a thin lubricant such as wd-40. Open and close the door5-6 times and spray it again. Repeat a few more times.
