cant find a dip stick

ok i have a 93 ford explorer 90143 mls i think its a 2.2 lt engine and it is a manuel trans 5 speed. does it have a dipstick for transmission fuild and where would it be located. also while driving the car makes a kind of grinding noise or if it over reeved, not like if you didnt get the gears in right tho, when ever i push in the clutch it stops. do i need a new cluch. :D

No dipstick for manual tranny and it sound that your do for a clutch and bearing
