2006 Ford Explorer heater fan

My heater fan won't shut off and was told it could be the diode that is inside the heater motor, but we need to know where it is located to repair it. Also have a coolant leak that we can't seem to figure out from where it is leaking. Any ideas?

Check the relay
check with your local ford dealer for warranty
