When I push the recirculate button outside air still comes through and there is no change in the air flow. This just seemed to happen in the last month. Also have a second peoblem.....rear windos work when ever they feel like it, some times they will not work for months and then all of a sudden they will work for a couple of months.

The recirculate could be the door actuator or the button. The door is down under the dash on the pass side nearest the kick panel. Remove the lower plastic cover under dash to see if it is working. When the rear windows arent working isit both of them? if so you need to test (with a test light) for power at the switch's when they dont work.
