How do you measure or take the measurement and what are the limits?

Friont disc= 24.5mm
Rear= 11.0 mm
You use a a micrometer, tighten the mic until it touches the rotor, measure in several depths and try to get into any grooves...I only see 4 wheel drive in explorer!
