My 03 explorer's air is on high but not blowing very hard. It sounds like it is from under the passenger dash but not coming out of vents very hard. Also not very cold sometimes it gets cold and then gets warm goes back and forth. Please help.

First, it sounds like there is a vacuum leak to the HVAC. The vent doors are actuated by vacuum. If there is a leak, it is hard to tell where the air will come out. Check under the dash and the hood for leaks. With the engine on, you may get lucky and hear a hissing sound from the leak.

Let me know what you find.

I checked under dash I couldn't reallly tell if it was leaking but I took out glove box door and I could feel cold air coming out from under there a little. I really don't know what to look for but I know it's not blowing very hard at all. I was just wondering is this normal for explorers. Thank you.

First, thank you for the positive feed back. Second, the problem really isn't normal for this vehicle. Have you checked under the hood to see if there are any leaks there?

Hey I noticed something. When I turn it on max air or just the dash vents I can still feel cold air coming out of the floor vents. Could that be why it's not blowing hard.

It still sounds like a vacuum problem. And yes, if part of the air flow is going to the floor, that would be a cause.
