When it doesn't start, are you getting spark and fuel to the engine? Have you tried replacing the EEC relay?

Yes it gets spark. It sounds like it wants to start but doesnt. We dont try to many times to start it because we dont want to flood it. We bought a fuel filter but have not put it on yet. Thanks so very much for trying to help us.

It sounds like you're not getting fuel. Have you tried to start it with starting fluid?
