1999 Ford Explorer fuel pump/EGR

Replaced my fuel pump a week ago it went out again, trouble codes only show po401 egr insufficient flow detected, also changed egr valve and tube.

What kind of pump did you use? If it wasnt a Motorcraft or A/C Delco im not surprised it is out again, some of them dont even last 1 week. As far as the EGR code, you need to manually apply the EGR valve with a vacuum pump to see if the engine almost stalls or stumbles real hard, if it does the EGR system is flowing ok, but it is most likely the DPVE sensor, it measures the backpressure in the exhaust so it knows when EGR is working, have replace a ton of them, but be sure the EGR is flowing first
