1997 Ford Explorer leaking oil

It blows oil underneath clean on top of motor gets on exauste and smokes kinda sluggish at times

That is possible. It could leak there and blow back on the exhaust. What I need you to do is this. Go to the local parts store and get an engine cleaner. Take the vehicle to a car wash, follow the directions on the can, and spray off all the oil. Drive the vehicle and then check to see if you can tell where the leak is located. If you still can't tell, then you will need to get a dye to put in the oil. After driving with the dye, using a black light will cause the dye to glow so you can see where it is coming from.
